The 2019 Nissan Maxima is getting a minor refresh and spy photographers have caught it testing in Detroit.
The prototype isn’t wearing a lot of camouflage, which allows us to see where the changes will be. Like most refreshes, expect to see updated front and rear ends, as well as headlights and tail lights. The Maxima’s updated styling should be previewed by the upcoming 2019 Nissan Altima debut, set for the 2018 New York Auto Show.
For the most part the changes will be minor, although the rear is getting some AMG-inspired exhaust finishers, giving the Maxima a more luxurious appearance.

Some minor interior revisions are to be expected, along with updates to the car’s technology. Expect Nissan to fit the updated Maxima with some of its latest ProPilot Assist features, along with a new infotainment system inside the cabin.
No official date for the sedan’s debut has been set, but look for it to bow this spring or summer.
